Olympics 2024: Match Schedule with TV and Streaming Details (USA)

(Updated on 8-Aug-2024: The gold medal match will air live on NBC. The bronze medal match will be streaming-only for the English-language commentary.)

While the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics do not officially begin until the Opening Ceremonies get underway on Friday, July 26th, the women’s soccer tournament kicks off on Thursday, July 25th.

As in years past, all soccer matches will available to watch live, though some will only be viewable via streaming.

The good news for those without cable or another TV provider is that all matches will be available for streaming live through NBC’s Peacock app for only a $7.99/month subscription.

The bad news for those with TV service through a cable/fiber or satellite provider is that some matches will be streaming only, thus requiring one to watch those matches through a smart app on their TV or using another device.

How To Watch the USWNT’s Matches

All USWNT matches, except for a potential quarterfinal match, will be televised live (with English-language commentators) on either the USA or E! channels. All live English-language quarterfinal matches look to be streaming only. (Though the potential USWNT match should air tape-delayed on USA at 1:30 AM Eastern on Sunday, August 4th.)

If you do not have access to those channels, all matches will be available live via a Peacock subscription. See the next section for more details.

How To Watch: The Details

If you do not have a multichannel TV provider (i.e., cable, satellite, fiber, or streaming), all matches will be available through streaming via a Peacock subscription (PeacockTV.com). Subscriptions start at $7.99 per month for the “Premium” plan.

For those who have a multichannel provider, most matches will be televised. English-language broadcasts will be on USA and E! channels, while Telemundo and Universo will air Spanish-language broadcasts. However, a majority of the English-language coverage will be streaming only.

For matches that are streaming only, those who have TV service through a major provider should be able to watch all matches both online at NBCOlympics.com as well as via the NBC Sports app at no extra cost. This will require signing in to one’s TV provider account.

If you’re using the NBC Sports app on a smart TV or a smart set-top box, there will be onscreen instructions in order to pair the app with one’s TV provider account.
