Third-Place Standings
For the standings of groups that have yet to play their final matches, see “Final Group Match Day Advancement Scenarios”.
Current Standings:
- Canada: 4 points, +7 goal difference, 12 goals scored (Group B)
- Cameroon: 4 points, +1 goal difference, 4 goals scored (Group A)
Both Canada and Cameroon are assured a best four finish among the third-place teams because the Group E team will finish with no more than 3 points and the Group C team will finish with either 4 points, but a lower goal difference (if USA-Paraguay ends in a draw), or 3 points (if there is a winner in the USA-Paraguay match).
