U-14 Talent ID: 80-player roster for the 2025 East Regional Mini-Camp announced

The second regional mini-camp of 2025 for U.S. Soccer’s Under-14 Girls’ Talent Identification Program gets underway outside of Atlanta, Georgia, on Thursday, March 20th, and features 80 players from the Northeast and Southeast Regions. All players selected were born in 2011.

Of the attendees with older sisters who have been in the U.S. Soccer women’s youth system, the most notable is midfielder Lilia Bhuta, whose sister Mia Bhuta now plays NCAA soccer for Stanford. In 2022, Mia Bhuta captained the USA at the FIFA Women’s Under-17 Women’s World Cup in India (Stanford player profile).

Two players, defender Anna Grace Richardson and forward Marley Skalski, previously attended a national identification camp in June 2024 (U.S. Soccer press release).

Midfielder Caroline Rivera Micheo has played for the Puerto Rico Under-14 Girls National Team. In 2023, she participated in the Caribbean Football Union Girls’ U14 Challenge Series (Instagram, T&T press release).

Forward Tatum Johnston, who is currently in the seventh grade, plays up on a high school’s girl’s soccer team. In February, she won a Mississippi state title with that team and scored the final goal of the state championship match (news article).

Nicole Lukic, who is the Director of Talent ID, will be in charge of this mini-camp and will be assisted by Diane Drake, the Senior Talent ID Manager for the Southeast, and Claire Ward, the Northeast Talent ID manager. The camp begins on Thursday, March 20th, and concludes on Monday, March 24th.

This year’s first U-14 mini-camp was held in February for the West Region. The final regional mini-camp of 2025 is scheduled for April and will be held in Texas.
