This weekend, the National Women’s Soccer League will have a compressed schedule, with three matches on Friday night and four on Saturday. No matches will be played on Easter Sunday.
On Saturday, the Orlando Pride will host the Washington Spirit in the marquee match of the week (5:05 p.m. EDT, ION). Last year, the Spirit lost to the Pride in the NWSL Championship. However, in this year’s preseason Challenge Cup match, the Spirit bested the Pride via penalties.
Friday night has a pair of juicy matches:
- The Prime Video match features the Portland Thorns taking on the Seattle Reign in a renewal of the Cascadia rivalry (10:00 p.m. EDT).
- A half-hour later, it is a battle of West Coast versus East Coast when #4 Angel City (10:30 p.m. EDT, NWSL+) faces #5 Gotham FC.
All matches this week can be streamed live, with only one on a paid service, Prime Video.
Four matches will be broadcasted via NWSL+, while the remaining pair of matches will be on the ION channel, which is available via free streaming services such as Tubi (tubitv.com) and PlutoTV (pluto.tv).

Looking Ahead…
Week 6 begins early, on Tuesday, with a match that features the Portland Thorns hosting Gotham FC. Both clubs will represent the NWSL in the upcoming Concacaf W Champions Cup semifinals, which will be played on Wednesday, May 21, and hopefully, the final of that tournament, which will be played on Saturday, May 24. A third-place match will also be played.
As those two teams will not be available for that weekend, the match on Tuesday is essentially an early make-up match. Starting next weekend, the remaining 12 teams will have a game in hand until the last weekend in May. After that, all 14 teams will have symmetrical one match per week schedules for the rest of the season.
2025 NWSL Table (after Week 4)
The Orlando Pride and the Kansas City Current continue to be the only teams with perfect records, while Angel City remains the only other undefeated club, with two wins and two draws.

Notes
The ION channel is available on most standard cable and satellite packages. It can also be streamed free via a number of different streaming platforms (ION TV help page).
For those in the USA, matches shown on CBS Sports Network may not have a standalone streaming alternative. Thus to view matches that will be shown on CBS Sports Network, one will need to have a TV service provider package that includes the CBS Sports Network channel.
The full schedule is available as a Google Sheets document (last updated on 17-Apr-2025).
