(Updated, 3-May-25) The website for the Professional Referee Organization (PRO) is now back online (direct link to Week 7 assignments). Previously, PRO’s website had been offline since at least Wednesday (April 30).
Week Seven of the National Women’s Soccer League’s 2025 regular season is front-loaded with three matches on Friday night, with two of those matches starting at 8:00 p.m. EDT. This week’s Prime Video features the #3 Washington Spirit hosting #9 Angel City (8:00 p.m. EDT). Simultaneous with that match is a battle between the #10 Houston Dash and the #12 Racing Louisville (NWSL+). At 10:30 p.m. EDT, the Kansas City Current, fresh off their shock loss to the North Carolina Courage, face the Seattle Reign (NWSL+).
On Saturday, the only action of the day is the ION doubleheader. At 7:30 p.m. EDT is the weekend’s marquee match-up between the (essentially) tied-for-first Orlando Pride and the #6 Portland Thorns. Then, at 10:00 p.m., the #13 Utah Royals welcome the #11 North Carolina Courage
Sunday opens with #4 Gotham FC hosting the last-place Chicago Stars (1:00 p.m. EDT on CBS), who are now without a permanent head coach after the questionable firing of Lorne Donaldson on Wednesday (Stars press release).
The weekend wraps up on Sunday night with a resurgent San Diego Wave hosting Bay FC (8:00 p.m. EDT, NWSL+).
All seven of this week’s matches can be streamed live in the United States, with five via free streaming services and two via paid streaming services.
For the free streaming matches, three will be available via NWSL+, while two will be broadcast on the ION channel, which is available via free streaming services such as Tubi (tubitv.com) and PlutoTV (pluto.tv). Two of the NWSL+ matches will also be available via the paid streaming services of Paramount+ and Prime Video as well as the free streaming channel CBS Sports Golazo! Network (www.cbssports.com/watch/cbs-sports-golazo-network).
One match, between the Spirit and Angel City, is only available via a paid streaming service, Prime Video.
The remaining match, which features Gotham hosting the Chicago Stars on Sunday, can be watched for free on over-the-air CBS. For those without antenna service, that match can be streamed using Paramount+, but only via its “…with Showtime” plan.

2025 NWSL Table (as of Week 6)
The Kansas City Current was the last team with a perfect record, but after losing to the North Carolina Courage during Week 6, all teams now have at least once loss.
The Current are more-or-less tied with the Orlando Pride for first place, as both teams are equal on points, goal difference, total wins, and goals scored. Those two teams have yet to play each other, so the only other tiebreaker is the discipline coefficient, which uses a point system for yellow and red cards handed out to the teams.
The Seattle Reign and Bay FC remain more-or-less tied for seventh place after their 1:1 draw last week.

- The next two tie-breakers are (4) Head-to-Head Points and (5) Head-to-Head Goals Scored. If the teams are still tied, then (6) a Disciplinary Points Coefficient is used. If teams cannot be separated based on the above criteria, the final method is (7) a Coin Flip or Drawing of Lots.
- The top eight teams qualify for the post-season tournament.
