USWNT: Volvo Winners Cup Matches Will Be Streamed Live

U.S. Soccer announced on Wednesday that Universal Sports Network will televise both of the United States Women’s National Team matches in the Volvo Winners Cup. And, more importantly, as most American cable subscribers do not get that channel, both matches will streamed live and for free on UniversalSports.com.

About Universal Sports Network: This is the same channel and website that broadcasted the USWNT’s matches during Olympic qualifying in January. However, UniversalSports.com has had a significant makeover. It is unclear whether the matches will archived for on-demand viewing. For those with DIRECTV, the channel is #625, and for DISH, #402.

SCHEDULE:
June 16th: 10 am EDT, USA vs. Sweden. (Live stream and on TV)
June 18th: 7am EDT, USA vs. Japan. (Live stream only)
June 18th 10am EDT, USA vs. Japan (Tape delay on TV)

The announcers for the matches will be Christian Miles (Chivas USA announcer) and Brandi Chastain.
