USWNT: Yes, Both Friendlies Against Germany Will Be Televised [Final Update]

FINAL UPDATE (18-Oct-2012): On Tuesday, USSoccer.com confirmed that the match in Chicago would be televised on Fox Soccer, with JP Dellacamera and Kate Markgraf in the booth.  On Wednesday, Arlo White tweeted that the second friendly would be on NBC Sports Network.

Update #3 (14-Oct-2012): Fox Soccer is also showing a replay of the first friendly on October 22nd at 5:00 p.m. EDT.

Update #2 (13-Oct-2012): The first friendly is again on Fox Soccer’s schedule.

Update (12-Oct-2012): As of sometime on Thursday, October 11th, Fox Soccer updated its online schedule. The first USA/Germany friendly is no longer listed. Instead, a UEFA Champions League Magazine show and a replay of the day’s Arsenal v. Norwich City are listed instead. Stay tuned…

Although, U.S. Soccer has yet to publicly confirm it, both of the upcoming Fan Tribute Series friendlies against #2 ranked Germany will be televised in the United States. The first match, on Saturday October 20th, which will be played at Toyota Park outside of Chicago, will be shown live on Fox Soccer, starting at 6:30 p.m. EDT.* The second friendly, on October 23rd, which will be contested in Connecticut, will air live on NBC Sports Network, with coverage beginning at 7:30 p.m. EDT.**

  • Saturday, October 20th, 6:30 p.m. EDT – Live on Fox Soccer
  • Tuesday, October 23rd, 7:30 p.m. EDT – Live on NBC Sports Network
