U-17 WWC: France Overcomes North Korea on Penalties to Claim the Title

On Saturday, October 13th, France claimed its first Women’s World Cup title at any age level by knocking off North Korea on penalties in the final of the 2012 Under-17 Women’s World Cup. In the earlier Third Place Match, Germany lost to Ghana 0:1, even though Ghana played with 10 win for the last 58 minutes of the match.
