CONCACAF Women’s U-17 Championship Draw to be Held Sunday

The draw for CONCACAF’s Women’s Under-17 Championship will be held this Sunday in Miami, Florida.

Host Guatemala has been placed in Group A. Mexico has been placed in Group B, while the other two North American teams, USA and Canada have been placed in the same pot. This avoids the possibility of USA and Canada being in the same group.

Group B:
Mexico

Pot 1: Canada, USA

Pot 2: Panama, Trinidad

Pot 3: Bahamas, Jamaica

The Championship will be hosted by Guatemala and will take place in May. The top three teams will advance to the 2012 U-17 Women’s World Cup in Azerbaijan (September 22nd to October 13th).
