This week, the 2012-2013 UEFA Women’s Champions League wrapped up its Round of 16. Notable performances this week include veteran England striker Kelly Smith scoring a hat trick (UEFA.com) as her squad, Arsenal Ladies, knocked off Turbine Potsdam in a dramatic 4:3 second leg (6:4 on aggregate). USWNT pool player Keelin Winters scored a second-half goal in that match for Potsdam. The draw for the quarterfinal round will be held on Tuesday, November 27th. The quarterfinals will be played in March 2013, followed by the semifinals in April 2013. The final will be contested on Thursday, May 23, 2013, at Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge stadium in London, England (UEFA.com).
